The litter box: the enemy of a housecat owner. They stink, they’re messy, and they aren’t pretty to look at. However- every inside cat needs one! I’ve broken down some neat litter tricks, tips, and hiding places to help you disguise your litter box to keep your house trendy and your cat happy!
2. The plant- this is one of my favorite litter box hiding places. Plants breathe a new sense of life into your home- while also allowing your little kitty to take care of its needs! Just be sure to get a pot made of plastic or some other material that is easy to cut. The solid ones will not work.
3. The Closet- for home owners this may be a great permanent litter box solution. Clearly it involves some construction but the cat door leads into the closet where the litter box is at. This hides the litter from plain site and allows you to take back space in your home. I would make sure to consult a professional before drilling away at your walls though!
4. The cat cave- this is one of the cheapest ways to hide a litter box. Simply take a coffee table and tape/clip/glue an old curtain or sheet inside of it in order to hide the litter box. Make sure to pin the fabric that you choose against the coffee table legs so your cat can get in and out easily.
